4e Power Cards Update:

As basically no duplex printer ever perfectly alignes front and back, I added the possibility to have some some bleed to the power card backs in order to avoid white lines borders on the finished cards.

The option can be activated under "Change My Details" in the Character Manager, clicking the "Duplex Printing" checkbox.

Character Manager Updates:

Now Basic Attacks, class Features, Racial powers, Cantrips are pre-selected but not disabled any more. This, together with the button to create power cards directly from the power selection popup, should be a useful addition.

Additionally, I fixed some minor impagination errors here and there.

GM Tools - PDA Utilities:

I posted 3 small utilities to be run on a PDA to help the life of Dungeon Masters. They are a Dice Roller, a XP Calculator for 3.5e and a XP Calculator for 4e.

They're extremely small and have a very simple UI, created to be run on Pocket Internet Explorer 2003.

4e Power Cards!

As power cards are a particular hot topic (actually, the new power system lends itself particularly well to the idea of power cards), and lots of users asked me if I could implement something like it, I just added this feature to the Character Manager!

It's a God-level subscribers feature, and the output is a PDF with 9 cards per page. The size of the cards is 63x88 mm, the same as Magic the Gathering cards, and a page with the card backs is generated as well. You can take a look at their appearance here

D&D 4e Launch!

I've just put online a *huge* revision of the website, with full support for D&D 4e, which launched today!

Character sheet, power lists, and full integration with the Character Manager... it was a lot of work, but well worth it.

The new sheet is much less cluttered, and uses a larger and clearer font.
The new lists have been optimized to avoid minuscule text, and have been split on 2 lines.
The Character Manager now supports both 3.5e and 4e characters, with all the usual features and more!

Dynamic Sheets:

Restructured character sheets to allow extra blank skill lines and skill notes (where possible), as well as Level Adjustment for Ravenloft, and Character Portrait for every setting. The summary of Henchmen/Familiars/Animal Companions has been removed.

Character Manager:

The editable character sheets incorporate the latest changes (see above).
It's now possible to use bold and italic in every text field, using [b]...[/b] for bold and [i]...[/i] for italic.
It's now possible to load character portraits or symbols in the character sheet. The pictures must be hosted somewhere (http:// only), and must be in JPG format. Apart from that, the program will take care of resizing and centering them (Master- and God-level only)
The 'smart paste' feature in the Notes sheet has been improved, and does not override the standard Ctrl+V handler anymore. A 'Paste Special' button has been added (God-level only)

Major New Features:

From now on, the "static" versions of D&D, Forgotten Realms, Eberron, Dragonlance, and Ravenloft have been discontinued in favor of their "dynamic" versions. You will still be able to download the "old" static version if you want (why would you want to do that though?), but the real treat comes from the dynamic sheets, which now are created on-the-fly, just like the spell lists.
